Buddy Clarke & Spirit of America

Published by Admin

buddy.jpg   title-med.gif   Mr. Hunter “Buddy” Clarke had the distinguished privilege of performing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra in the early 1960s.  Deciding to carry on in the Big Band tradition, he formed a band of his own in 1962.  The band has since had the opportunity to perform for two U.S. presidents, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, USS Saratoga Aircraft Ship, Harry Truman Aircraft Carrier, Grand opening of The Air and Space Museum, WWII reunions, with and for General Klingenhagen (Washington D.C), and provided music for Tri-Star Pictures among numerous other occasions and charitable events.  This illustrious 15-piece orchestra, which perfoms music by Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and more, was commissioned by a 4-star General as The “Spirit of America” Band.  Buddy Clarke was awarded Man of the Year in 2006 by The National Republican Congressional Committee and is Honorary Co-Chairman of the Business Advisory Council.
