Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS)
CDRS Pakistan Earthquake Medical Relief Program Mission Statement
CDRS is dedicated to providing quick, efficient and compassionate medical and humanitarian relief and disaster recovery operations to the people of the earthquake affected areas, with concentration of efforts in the Chikar area (a population of approximately 150,000 people) and outreach programs to remote villages in the devastated Jhelum and Neelum Valleys within District Muzzafarabad, Kashmir. These operations include the channelling of human resources, medical support, logistical support, health education programs and funding directly to the people who need it most, particularly mothers and children.
Approach / Principles
Despite all difficult challenges and circumstances, CDRS is bringing a compassionate, cooperative, effective, urgent and professional approach to healthcare services in the earthquake devastated areas of Pakistan. Our principles are simply to place community and patient healthcare needs at the highest priority, to build on what we’ve started with a constant and consistent drive towards improving healthcare to the community in every way possible and too keep the commitments we have made to the people we are serving and the donors who support us.
