Woodland Trail Farm
Woodland Trail Farm
Welcome to the wooded countryside of Isle of Wight County Virginia in the Hampton Roads area, home to Woodland Trail Farm and its prize winning Alpacas. We specialize in white or light fawn Alpacas.
Woodland Trail Farm is located just seven miles from Historic Smithfield Virginia. We
explored the idea of getting into the alpaca business for several years. The more farms we visited and the more alpacas we met convinced us that this was the right decision for us. We started with two, high quality, beautiful white and light fawn alpacas. Since then both have produced wonderful crias. Our business focuses on raising quality white and light fawn alpacas. We feel that it is important for the industry to be able to produce quality fleece that can be used for light colored garments or dyed to produce beautiful soft vibrant colored alpaca products.
We also shear, process and market our own Alpaca Fiber. We craft skeins, scarves, hats, gloves, Teddy Bears and many other crafts. Our products have proven to be very popular at our local Craft and Farmers Markets. Visit our Farm Store on our website to see some of our hand made products.
We also have a Farm Store located on our farm where we sell our hand made products and yarn. Please call for an appointment
